At Central we believe that worship is an essential part of being a follower of Christ. Our goal is that our worship times on Sunday’s are an extension of the lives we are living as the body of Christ, just as Romans 12:1 tells us to do.
There are many different ideas about worship in our society today and what it should look like. Our main goal is this: Worship should be centered in Christ and His word. No matter the style of music or the form worship takes, this is our standard.

My name is Ryland Russell and I am the Worship Pastor here at Central. Thanks for stopping by the site and I hope you are finding the info that you need. If you have any questions about our worship ministry at CBC feel free to contact us using the form on the left. Here is a little info about my family and I.
I married my beautiful wife Mindy on June 18, 2005. Our three children, Isaac, Hope and Eden are our little miracles. They can be seen at Central most sundays roaming the stage after church, playing with their “fwends” in the nursery or hunting for Pastor Scott and a choco bar. He knows how to win a child over!
We came to CBC in May of 2010, and have loved it since day 1. If you are new to Central let me assure you that the people here will make you feel right at home and part of the family. Our worship ministry is just that, a family. I hope that you will join with us in our journey to live out John 3:30, that God would increase and we would decrease, and that we would make his name known.

Adult choir is a non-audition, completely open group that anyone can join at anytime. We meet on Sunday evenings from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Choir Room for rehearsals. Simply come to a rehearsal to start singing with us. We do special seasonal presentations along with our regular worship services.
Praise band is a select group of instrumentalists and praise team singers that help facilitate our worship services. Do you play an instrument? Do you sing? This may be the place for you.
The audio visual team is the all encompassing term for the people who run sound, lighting, video, and computer presentation programs each week. We need people who are willing to be on a rotation to do all of those things. Some prior experience is preferred but we are more than willing to train you!
Our drama team is used during the Christmas Production mainly. Last year we had 20+ people doing parts, and we will need people again this year. Let us know if you are interested.
The information technologies team is for people who want to help upkeep things for CBC including our website, social media, local network, servers, security cameras, and other fun things.
There is a team that does some much needed behind the scenes work. This team (which is down to 1 person right now) organizes all of the sheet music for the band, choir, and praise team. It requires about 1-2 hrs of work on Wednesday mornings from 8:00a-10am.
This is an area where we could use your help. It would involve carpentry skills, painting, etc for making changes to a stage platform for different series and special events.
